This 1961 British Leyland Motor Home still has its original British Leyland Diesel motor! The motor is in excellent mechanical condition and runs great! The bus is equipped with right hand drive 5 speed standard transmission.
Half the front top is open air seating from the factory and the height of this vehicle makes this bus the PERFECT NASCAR Bus / Motor Home / Party Vehicle!!!
Instead of tailgate BBQ you can have Bus TOP BBQ!
The Motor Home is mechanically sound but needs some work to make her look pretty. It has a good bathroom and kitchen. There is plenty of room in the upstairs master suite.
My friend from England that knows about these busses told me, they were very rare in England where it was manufactured. Not many of these busses were converted to Motor Homes. The man that imported from England spent near 50K, 15 years ago buying and getting it here to the states.
